FLAMING SATAN SKULL FIRST PATCH

This was my first patch done back in 1967. A friend brought me his Levi's jacket and an Ed Roth design out of Ed's book CALIFORNIA CHOPPERS. He wanted me to hand paint the design on the back. I re-drew the design and painted the jacket. It came out great! I started thinking, that this would make a really cool patch. Jumped on my bike and rode to the nearest embroidery shop and had some made up. The rest is history, well, my history anyway... This re-issue of my first patch was scanned from the original 1967 artwork. The patch measures 5" tall and 3-1/4" wide. 4 color, full embroidered on black polyfelt, the originals were done on wool. The backs have had patch sealer applied to stabilize them.

Scanned from the original 70's artwork and full embroidered with 11 colors on black polyfelt. Patch sealer has been applied to the back to stabilize it. The eyes glow pale green in the dark!!! See, I said it was "updated", cool huh?
